Introduction to Stained Glass with Jamille Haddad

An event every 3 weeks that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 23, 2020
Jamille will take you through the entire process of creating a stained glass work of art! The first week of this 3-week workshop will focus on glass-cutting techniques, choosing design (several options!) and selecting colors. Week Two will involve cutting the glass for the project, and includes an introduction to the copper foil technique. During the third week, students will finish cutting and foiling their projects, and prepare for soldering. Student should wear closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hair tied back.
Jamille Haddad has been designing and producing stained glass and fused glass art in the central Florida area for over 40 years. “My work is more spiritual than political and usually has themes for the work based on my feelings of spirituality. I strive for beautiful craftsmanship while pushing the material to its limits in creating art to enhance our living and working environments.” $150 plus $50 materials fee. $50 materials fee covers use of tools, equipment, glass and other supplies.

Class size limited to 4 students to comply with CDC guidelines for safe distancing. Masks Required. Tuition is non-refundable after registration deadline date of September 4. Registration opens on July 30.
