Linnea is originally from Geneva, Ohio, but has been a resident of Brevard County since 1949. She studied under Highwayman artist R.L Lewis in the late 1970’s, painting vibrant Florida landscapes. Around the same time, she also worked as a draftsman at Kennedy Space Center.
Linnea’s visits to Europe, Canada and Australia influenced her art, but she draws most of her inspiration from the beautiful Florida in which she was raised. She is currently utilizing old barn wood and fences as the “canvas” for nature and fantasy scenes.
