Minutemen’s transformation is exponentially building potential in Cocoa Beach for community: a walking, dining, creating, shopping, living community. Studios of Cocoa Beach, a non-profit art cooperative, has opened it's doors to a grand welcome from the community with a space dedicated to art, creativity, learning, and buzz. In other words, we’re amping up the vibrancy, life and fun in our little town. Whether it’s taking a workshop to learn painting from a master, buying that one-of-a-kind gift, browsing for art with out-of-town guests, or celebrating a birthday with a sip-and-paint party, we’re making Cocoa Beach an even better place to live, work and play.

With more than 30 Brevard artists in place, we're always interested in what you can add to our dynamic vision so please fill out one of our (free) applications.... Full-time Studios Artist, Guest Artist or Holiday Gift Shoppe Artist. We have approximately 9 Guest Artist Exhibits throughout the year. Once your work passes the jurying process and either a space opens or there is potential for you to be a Guest Artist or a part of our Holiday Gift Shoppe, you'll be scheduled for an interview. Depending on the above, contract and pricing will then be discussed.

Membership Levels:

In order to keep Studio costs down we rely on volunteers to help sit during open hours, however, we realize some artists may be limited as to how much time they can commit to sitting in the Studios. Therefore, on the different price levels we have choices available. Please place an “X” next to the level you are interested in. This agreement can be changed depending on the needs of the Studios or the needs of the artist members.

  • Level A1: Any media: $100 for one wall approximately 6’ tall x 8’ wide. 3% on sales in exchange for sitting up to 4 five-hour shifts in the Studios.
    Level A2: Any media: $100 plus 25% on sales. Artist would sit the Studios: up to 2 five-hour shifts. This level is offered on a month to month basis and may be terminated with a 30 day notice from the artist
  • Level B1: Consignment space: This option is limited to jewelry, ceramics, sculpture or other art that does not need to hang on a wall. 30% of sales go to the Studios. Artist required to sit 3-4 five-hour shifts a month, depending on the needs of the Studios.
    Level B2: Consignment space: This option is limited to jewelry, ceramics, sculpture or other art that does not need to hang on a wall. 40% of sales to go to the Studios. Artist required to sit 0 shifts of the month. This level comes with a three month contract.

Shift hours are as follows:
Tuesdays: 10:15am to 3:15pm
Wed-Sat: 10:15am to 3:15pm & 3:00pm to 8:15pm
Sunday: 10:45am to 4:15pm

Our workshops include Acrylic/Oil, Drawing, Studios Sip n' Create/Girls' Night Out, Kid's Classes, Batik, Photography, Watercolor, Jewelry, Sculpture, Baskets, Gourds and more. All levels of experience are taught! We've got some great summer classes and workshops for children & teens.
