This month we will be working with clay to make a decorative plant "pocket" that can be hung on a wall and filled with plants. Perfect to celebrate spring and Earth Day!
This super-fun art class focuses on process, rather than product. Process art allows children to explore and make connections without the pressure of "right" or "wrong" ways to do things. It helps develop creativity and self-esteem by focusing on what kids imagine rather than their skill level. With excitement and interest in their own creations, kids grow curious and naturally start developing those skills. I keep the group small so that each child can have as much attention and guidance as they need to create and learn!
Recommended for kids in Elementary school age: around 4 to 12 years old
