STUDIOS OF COCOA BEACH ART SCENE 2026

In February 2026, the Studios of Cocoa Beach, will host a juried event for Florida artists. 

Studios of Cocoa Beach Art Scene 2026, is an opportunity for artists to submit their finest works. Artworks for display in the February exhibit will be selected by a noted art professional (TBA). Cash prizes will be awarded to those artists that display qualities in composition, technique, and individuality. 

Complete the application and submit payment below. You may also drop off an application and/or check in-person at the Studios or send via mail.

Specifications for Entry

• Applicants may submit 3 entries

  • 1st entry: $30

  • 2nd entry: $15

  • 3rd entry: $15

• Entry fees are non-refundable

• 2D and 3D works are accepted

  • 2D entries: no more than 40 in. x 40 in.

  • 3D entries: no more than 18 in. tall. Artist must provide a stand for display.

Types of Art Accepted

• Original paintings, limited edition photography (no more than the 5th edition), digital art, sculpture.

• All artwork must be created exclusively by the applicant.

Not Accepted:

• Reproductions of paintings, artwork created exclusively with AI.

• Work more than 2 years old.

Entry Format

• Digital

  • Must be in JPEG format

  • Photo of works should be taken straight on, not on an angle. Crop out background as much as possible.

  • Resolution: no more than 1920x1920 pixels

  • File name: First Name, Last Name, Title of Work, Medium, Size

    • E.g. JohnDow,Sunset,oil,16x20

• In-Person or Mail

  • Submit CD or thumb drive with picture of work

    • Follow digital formatting instructions above (crop background, resolution, file name)

Specifications for Artworks Once Accepted

• Works must be framed or on gallery wrap canvas.

• If work requires glass, use Plexiglass on pieces larger than 18” x 24” or 432 sq. in.

• 2D work must be properly wired & ready to hang when delivered. No sawtooth hangers.

Jury Awards

• Best in Show: $500 cash prize, certificate, and a month-long exhibit of your works on a full wall space

• 2nd Place: $300, certificate

• 3rd Place: $100, certificate

• Merritt Awards: $50, certificate

• Judges’ Recognition: Certificate

Sales

• In the event of a sale, the artist will receive 70% of the sale, 30% goes to the Studios.

• Payment is awarded by the 15th of the following month.

• The buyer has the right to take the purchased work.

• The artist may replace the work with a similar format.

  • *The Studios has the right to curate the replaced work

Shipping

• Artists are responsible for shipping.

  • The Studios will inform the buyer that the artist will determine the shipping charge. We will contact the artist concerning the shipping option and provide the buyer’s contact information.

Timeline

• Show Run: Feb. 3-March 1

• Deadline for Entries: Nov. 30 2025

• Results of the Jury Selection (email notification): Dec. 15 2025

• Drop off Accepted Work at the Studios: Sun. Feb. 1 9:00AM-5:00PM

• Studio Installs the Exhibit: Mon. Feb. 2

• Reception: Fri. Feb. 6, 6:00-8:30PM

• Pickup Work: Sun. March 1 10:00AM-6:00PM
