Balancing Act, 11” x 14” Acrylic Painting Project
Watching pelicans makes one wonder what it would be like to be one. A creature that has the advantage of living in the water, sky and land. Plus what majestic birds they are!
Join me and let’s create a painting of this bird done by you! I will show you step by step how to draw the pelican and then transfer it to your canvas. For the background, you will make clouds and paint water. Practice mixing colors, layering and then detail work. Painting this fascinating bird shows you just how amazing our creatures are.
This project is done in acrylic on 11” x 14” canvas. Beginners (no experience necessary) are welcome but any level will benefit. The ultimate purpose is to paint, have fun, and experience this wonderful creature.
Bring your own refreshments and something to share (optional).
Class cost is $55 per person. All art materials and accessories for refreshments are included.

Instructor: Weinreich has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Florida International University and has been a professional artist for over twenty-six years. She has the experience of teaching art and doing art in a number of mediums. She believes there is an artist in everyone.
