Studios of Cocoa Beach is now open Fridays 3:30 to 8pm and Saturdays from 11 to 8pm. We will also open by appointment for those who want to view and purchase art at their convenience. Thank you for your continued support of our organization and community!

The featured Artist of August is Edwin Carlson his work "Rum Cove" 11 x 17 print will be given away at the end of August 2020. Stop by the studios to scan the QR code to enter. Winner must be able to pick up prize from the Studio (no shipping).

The Studios of Cocoa Beach, a non-profit 501c3 art cooperative, is a space dedicated to art, creativity, learning, and buzz. Since Fall 2016, the Studios has added its energy to Cocoa Beach's thriving dining, shopping and walking Downtown Main Street. The Studios hosts a diverse group of over 30 juried local and regional artists, whose varied mediums offer something for every art lover. We offer exhibitions, art classes for all ages and abilities, guest artists, opening receptions and special events...shop, create, learn and play with us! Run by a staff of dedicated volunteers, we appreciate the amazing support our artists and our community have given us.

Here's how you can join our team of more than 30 local artists. We would love to have you add to our dynamic vision! Simply fill out the application below (it's free!) and choose from one of our levels of membership including:

Once your application and samples of your work pass the jurying process, you will be notified of current openings and scheduled for an interview, at which time commissions and Studios participation will be discussed.

Membership Levels:

  • Level A - ARTIST (full wall): Any medium
    • $50 one-time set-up fee
    • $100 per month rent for one wall approximately 8’ tall x 6’ wide
    • 3% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 4 (four) 5-hour shifts monthly OR
    • 15% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 3 (three) 5-hour shifts monthly OR
    • 25% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 2 (two) 5-hour shifts monthly
    • One-year contract, renewable with review
  • LEVEL B - ARTIST (half wall): Any medium
    • $50 one-time set-up fee
    • $50 per month rent for one wall approximately 6’ tall x 4’ wide
    • 3% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 4 (four) 5-hour shifts monthly OR
    • 15% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 3 (three) 5-hour shifts monthly OR
    • 25% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 2 (two) 5-hour shifts monthly
    • One-year contract, renewable with review
  • LEVEL C - GUEST ARTIST (half wall): Any medium
    • $50 one-time set-up fee
    • $65 per month rent for one wall approximately 6’ tall x 4’ wide
    • 30% gallery commission on sales, artist NOT required to sit
    • Three-month contract, renewable once per year with review
  • LEVEL D - CONSIGNMENT ARTIST (shelf space): clay, fiber, metal, jewelry, etc.
    • $50 set-up fee with each contract
    • $0 per month rent for shelf or cabinet space
    • 40% gallery commission on sales, artist NOT required to sit
    • OR
    • 30% gallery commission on sales, artist required to sit for 2 (two) 5-hour shifts monthly
    • Six-month contract, renewable with review
  • LEVEL E – EXHIBIT ARTIST (special shared exhibit area): Any medium
    • $30 set-up fee
    • $0 per month rent
    • 30% gallery commission on sales, artist NOT required to sit
    • Two-month contract
  • LEVEL F – SPECIAL EVENT ARTIST: performance art, book artists, installations, etc.
    • $50 set-up fee, no monthly rent
    • 30% gallery commission on sales, artist NOT required to sit
    • Contract length: per event – one time or ongoing

"Normal" Business hours:
Monday & Tuesdays:10:30am to 3:30pm
Wed-Sat: 10:30am to 8:00pm
Sunday: 11:00pm to 4:00pm

Shift hours are as follows:
Mondays & Tuesdays: 10:15am to 3:15pm
Wed-Sat: 10:15am to 3:15pm & 3:00pm to 8:15pm
Sunday: 10:45am to 4:15pm

We, at the Studios, are thankful that you have chosen to share your artwork with us and are looking forward to reviewing your submission. Our exhibits run up to 2 months and are theme or media oriented. Entrance fee and consignment % to be determined per exhibit/show.

Join us for a Class or Workshop!

Our classes and workshops feature instruction Acrylic and Oil Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Stained Glass, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Jewelry making, as well as our popular Sip ‘n' Paint nights. Our instructors come from diverse backgrounds, and we teach all levels. If a class isn't on the schedule that you'd like to take, please contact the Studios to let us know what YOU would like to learn!

Registration is easy and can be done online: simply click on the class you are interested in and fill in the blanks! Please keep in mind that registration opens up 6 weeks before class start-date, and deadline for registration is 5 days before the start of class. Tuition is non-refundable after deadline except in the form of a voucher toward a future class….thank you for your understanding!
