Jul 13th, 20th, and 27th - 10am to 11am
This month we will explore printmaking in many different ways!
Learn how to create multiple prints from styrofoam or a single, unique print from gelli plates. Experiment by printing with real flowers on fabric and making your own stamps!
There is a lot to explore and much fun to be had!
This super-fun art class focuses on process, rather than product. Process art allows children to explore and make connections without the pressure of "right" or "wrong" ways to do things. It helps develop creativity and self-esteem by focusing on what kids imagine rather than their skill level. With excitement and interest in their own creations, kids grow curious and naturally start developing those skills. I keep the group small so that each child can have as much attention and guidance as they need to create and learn!
Recommended for kids in Elementary school age: around 4 to 12 years old.
Instructor Bio: Ms. Romano is a certified Art Educator with the state of Florida. She has worked for over 10 years in public and charter schools teaching art to elementary and middle school children. She has a Master's Degree in Art Education
