The Studios of Cocoa Beach is pleased to present “True Love,” featuring Jaymee Weinreich and Drew Krecicki, who will display a selection of works at the Studios from March 4th, to March 30th, 2025.
Meet Jaymee and Drew at the reception for the exhibit on Friday, March 7th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Studios of Cocoa Beach. Please join us and meet our artists and patrons for refreshments and nibbles.
Jaymee Weinreich is a founding member of the Studios of Cocoa Beach and is in charge of exhibitions and processing new artists joining the Studios. She works in several mediums and subjects. In this month’s exhibit, the works have an aquatic theme expressing her love for the ocean and river. She was raised in Cocoa Beach and moved to the Caribbean as an adult. For twenty-eight years, she overlooked the sea from her home and often visited her family in Cocoa Beach until she returned in 2014.
With a BFA in Fine Art from Florida International University, she has enjoyed her life as an artist. She says, “I am truly happiest when I am in my studio creating. I also love the business of art and other artist’s creations. I have never regretted my choice to pursue the life of an artist and I intend on continuing to do art for the rest of my life”
Drew Krecicki’s subject matter for his watercolor painting harkens back to his never-ending love of the beach, boats, sunlight, and sand. Each painting attempts to tell a story with the help of light, shadow, reflection, and form.
Raised in New Jersey, Drew spent his summers at the Jersey shore where his appreciation for the ocean, nature, and basically all things aquatic was instilled. After getting his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Architecture from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, Drew worked in several parts of the country (Princeton, Boston, Minneapolis, and Atlanta) before settling in Winter Park, Florida where he has lived for thirty years.
Both artists work will be on display from March 4th to March 30th, 2025. Meet Jaymee and Drew at the reception of their exhibition held on Friday, March 7th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Studios of Cocoa Beach at 165 Minutemen Causeway.
The Studios has approximately twenty-nine artists and includes paintings, fused glass art, ceramics, woodworks, jewelry, palm art, surf art, cards, and reproductions. Throughout the year, the Studios offers classes in various media including acrylic and watercolor painting, photography, stained glass and classes for children.
For a chance to win a work of art, we also invite you to participate in our monthly silent auction. We are a non-profit and proceeds go for operating expenses.
