Working in several mediums, including oil and acrylic, I also enjoy making jewelry and having painting and drawing workshops.  My work includes people, animals, rainforest, island environments, illustration, and fantasy. Fantasy, magic, symbolism, and mythology are themes I love to include in my artwork.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida International University in Miami and then moved to the Caribbean.  After living in the rainforest mountains of Puerto Rico as a professional artist for over twenty-eight years, I have reconnected to my hometown in Florida.  Nature and the tropical environment continue to be my inspiration in subject matter and account for my palette of bold colors.

A large part of the purpose of my art is to connect others to life in a spiritual sense, apart from our problems and the reality of day-to-day living. Most important to me is life’s beauty and our connection to nature.  In a sense, I’d like to think that I promote awareness of beauty in all that surrounds us.
