Last October 2023, art instructor Jan Bryant and her Class Artists exhibited the results of their year’s works, an accumulation of projects led by the instructor. This year we are proud to present the 2024 class results in the works of seventeen of Jan’s participants.

The October Exhibition, Jan Bryant and her Class Artists, runs Tuesday, October 8th – Sunday, November 3rd.

Meet the artists at the reception for the exhibit on Friday, October 25th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Studios of Cocoa Beach. Refreshments will be served.

Jan Bryant is a professional artist and instructor with a BFA and Masters degree in Education and Art, as well as 50+ years of experience. She teaches frequently at the Studios of Cocoa Beach and many of her classes are coming up! During this year, in addition to Jan’s regular instruction in watercolor and acrylic mediums, she presented a Master’s Series of classes developing a specific painting with the Master in mind and encouraging the individual artist to use their particular colors and materials. She believes that "It is important to interpret art as you wish, to enjoy the art of painting, to not feel the need to copy any painter/instructor.” Jan’s class students range in experience from the beginner to the more advanced artist. Jan’s motivational encouragement helps them on their artistic journeys with the added benefit of trying new techniques. Several of the students have been with Jan over a length of time and the exhibition is a tribute to their artistic growth. Come see these unique works exhibited in the Studios this October!
