JAN WEIGOLD BRYANT & HER CLASS ARTISTS | AN EXHIBITION
The Studios of Cocoa Beach presents “Jan Weigold Bryant and Her Class Artists,” An Exhibition this October.
Art instructor Jan Weigold Bryant is one of the Studios’ dedicated instructors teaching watercolor and acrylics. This October, starting Tuesday, October 3, Jan and her class artists will exhibit their works.
Jan taught at two universities, but she expresses, “My love is teaching individuals that aren’t looking for a grade, but for the enjoyment of seeing the beauty in the world and transferring that to their chosen medium in their particular style. It’s not important to “paint like Jan”. Each person has a unique outlook and getting them to open up and allow their creativity to express what they are seeing is my goal!”
Jan’s class students range in experience from the beginner to the more advanced artist. Jan’s motivational encouragement helps them on their artistic journeys with the added benefit of trying new techniques. Several of the students have been with Jan over a length of time and the exhibition is a tribute to their artistic growth.
Along with teaching at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, Jan is an instructor at Central Brevard Art Association, Island Condominiums, Health First Aging Services, and she does private lessons at her home studio. In addition, Jan loves to hold painting parties.
The exhibition begins Tuesday, October 3, and runs until Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Join the Studios for a reception on Saturday, October 07, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, for a chance to meet Jan and her class of artists and share in their celebration of art. Wine and other fair will be served.

The Studios is an artist run 501c3 non-profit gallery of approximately thirty local artists and includes paintings, art photography, fused glass, ceramics, woodworks, jewelry, palm art, surfboard culture art, cards and reproductions.
