Central Brevard Art Association Scholarship Winner Ana-Marija Ilievska On Exhibit At The Studios of Cocoa Beach Gallery June2024

Each spring the Central Brevard Art Association awards a scholarship to a deserving central Brevard County high school senior. Its 20th annual Student Scholarship recipient is Ana-Marija Ilievska from Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School. The Studios of Cocoa Beach and Ridley’s Custom Framing have teamed up to present an Exhibit of her work. This Exhibit will run throughout the month of June 2024 at the Studio’s gallery, 165 Minutemen Cswy downtown in Cocoa Beach.

Throughout her time at school, Ana-Marija has consistently displayed a passion and talent for 2D and 3D visual arts. Her creativity and dedication to her craft have been evident in the numerous artworks she has produced, showcasing both technical skill and originality. Ana-Marija has been an active participant in the school’s art programs and has taken on leadership roles in art-related extracurricular activities. She is the President of the National Art Honors Society and Art Club.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Ana-Marija has maintained a high scholastic standing, exemplifying her commitment to excellence in both her academics and artistic endeavors. She is an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate as well as an Advanced Placement class participant with a continuous GPA of 3.8. She is an active member of the Key Club and National Honor Society.

Ana-Marija shared,   ”One of my biggest values as a human being is the ability to express myself artistically; finding the freedom and beauty that comes with that. I paint, draw, animate, sculpt, sing, write and dance.  My art is the vessel through which I express my emotions and passions”,

In the future, Ana hopes to work in the field of animation. She is committed to University of Central Florida as an Animation Major working to broaden her prospective and increasing her skills that will carry her into a career in animation that might someday culminate in designing her own tv show.

A selection of her work, professionally mounted by Ridley’s Custom Framing of Palm Bay, will be on a month long exhibit at The Studios of Cocoa Beach Art Gallery beginning with a Meet & Greet on June 1, 2024 from 1-3pm.
